CLAY UTOPIA

Clay Utopias is a continuous work of sensorial experimentation and creation of utopian/dystopian scenarios based on reading and territorial research. The work consists of using clay to allude to the materiality of the earth: what connects us with the planet, with life and with each other. Another important component to the work is in-situ casting, a way of instantly reading and portraying a symbol, building or object, and capturing the local material essence. The intention is to search and identify spaces that bring questions and social/political provocations, knowledge of one's own body and then imagine possibilities of transformation or transgression.
