performance on Av. of the Republic, autumn 2021.
The investigation of Spatial Approaches began with an experimentperformative in the urban space, with Avenida da República, in Vila Nova de Gaia, as its axis. The starting point was the analysis of what was identified as "strangeness", a characteristicpredominant for the researcher and from which the idea of incorporating such a characteristic and tracing a daily life in space arose.
The action generated profoundly instigating results for the research, considering that what was apparently just strange finally proved to be familiar, but still uncomfortable: unwanted familiarity.
PERFORMATIVITY II

After the unfolding of the first performance, a new performance approach was taken, this time with additional elements to reinforce the symptom of "strangeness" and evaluate the reaction of the passerby. In addition to the imagery result generated, the exercise allowed for a new assessment by the researcher, who realizes that the work has more nuances than those identified at the beginning: there is a strong connection between the reading of that space and very personal issues.
PERFORMATIVITY (FINAL)
organizing content in the classroom, fall 2021.
The performative activity triggered new artistic interpretations in this process. From the material generated in loco, exercises were developed in the classroom with the teachers to interpret and absorb the research content. After a performative session of "turning tables", the result achieved exposes a reflection on issues that mix the reality of the place with the artist's personal reality: migration, belonging, identity and ideology.
